DP&L named 2019 Utility Environmental Champion by Cogent Reports

DAYTON, Ohio – April 24, 2019 – The Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), is one of twenty-nine utilities designated as a 2019 Utility Environmental Champion among residential customers. This is an annual honor given to gas, electric and combination utilities that exhibit exceptional performance by Cogent Reports’ Utility Trusted Brand & Customer Engagement TM Residential Study. The study surveyed more than 61,000 utility customers from 140 U.S. electric, natural gas, and combination utilities over the last 12 months and scored the utilities on an Environmental Dedication index.

DP&L’s ranking reflects the extent to which customers believe the company supports environmental causes, commitment to being environmentally conscious, encouragement of green initiatives, and offering tools to help customers manage their energy usage.
