The AES Ohio Foundation was established in 1985 to make transformational investments in the communities in our 24-county service territory and is the largest corporate foundation in the Dayton region where every dollar is distributed locally.
Since its inception, the Foundation has invested more than $46.7 million in grant funding to support vital community initiatives in the following priorities areas:

- Health & human services
- The arts
- Urgent community needs
